This captured my attention in the papers last week – an epic tragedy played out on the shores of the North Sea : the stranded 4 enormous sperm whales.  The reports say the whales pictured may come from a pod of at least 17 originating from Norway.

Whale experts suspect the animals communicate with each other  – it is as if there were some unspoken, fraternal suicide pact among the giants. How inspiring!?

It’s sad that it is happening and I look forward to learning more about the causes to help make a change!
